The
Biblical Hebrew program will enable students
- to acquire knowledge of Hebrew vocabulary, morphology, and syntax,
including the technical terminology used to describe grammatical phenomena
- to translate narrative biblical texts from Biblical Hebrew into
English
- to understand the fundamentals of biblical Hebrew poetry
- to work with the standard scholarly tools used for translation
The Hebrew program is overseen by Dr. Robert Williamson Jr. of the
Department of Religious Studies.
