IV. Departmental Liaison Reports

  • CAFETERIA: we are going to find the food suggestion box. Working on the frozen yogurt situation.
  • Physical Plant: couch lights – public safety are looking at that. House ashtray there will be one put out but with the policy.
  • IT: duplexers?

V. Committee Reports

  • Financial Committee with Alexander Jones
    • Warrior Dance Team
      • New proposal from last week. They brought down substantial amount. This is a country western dance team. There first performance is December 1st. There was some hot discussion over this because of the amount per person.
      • Motion to Approve – 11 yes, 3 no. APPROVED.
  •  Committee on Everything Awesome:
    • Dean Jim Wiltgen and
    • Karla Carney-Hall
    • Reminder is the ONE MAN STAR WARS! In staples. 8 oclock.
  • Environmental Concerns Committee with Emily and Katherine
    • Free Store last one of the semester the week after thanksgiving.
    • Energy competition ends on Wednesday. Apts – we need individual bills by the 6th of December. If you email – you get 5 extra points.
    • Food demonstration in the Caf! Teaming up with Amnesty International. We will be there from 7 to 7.
  • Media Committee with Hannah Sintek
    • Troubador – no longer going to have an advertisement section.
    • Aonian – two deadlines: December 1, in February: all orginial work! Potentially up to 25
    • Profile comes out Friday, and profileonline.com is continuously updated.
  • Multicultural Development Committee with Molly Miller
    • MDC is done for the semester.
    • Planning DOA.
    • International Week is going ON NOW!
  • Campus Kitty with Sabrina\
    • Getting ready for the December events. Great acts ready for the Faculty/Talent Show. $2 to get into the variety show.

 

  • Social Committee with Will Phillips
    • Soco 54 on SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9-1 in the Worsham. Entrance is from the back patio.
    • Tshirts are $10.
    • Wristbands – 11-2: wed, thurs, and Friday. 5-7 WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY!
  • Volunteer Action Committee with Michaela Fraser
    • Saturday: Village Park and play games and such. Meet at the bell at 9:45.
    • Food donation is still going on.
  • Academic Policy with Ruanda McFerren
    • Ap meeting this Thursday.
    • Send concerns.
  • Student and Academic Concerns Committee with Taylor and Ruanda
    • SACC meeting at 6.
  • Communications Committee with Emily Jones

We will be covering the rest of the boot costs with our own $50 dues that each team member will now pay.  Boys will be wearing any blue jeans and belt they have, and girls now have two outfits: just a dress, as well as a dress with an orange plaid shirt on top.
