Chamber Chorale

Chosen from the membership of the Choir, the Hendrix College Chamber Chorale is a small select group which specializes in vocal chamber-works from the Renaissance through the twentieth century. The Chamber Chorale rehearses two hours weekly.

In addition to participating in choir concerts and the Candlelight Carol Service, the Chorale performs in a variety of venues by itself.  For example, in recent years the group has taken part in the annual Renaissance Faire presented at Highland Valley United Methodist Church in Little Rock, sung for residents at Parkway Village retirement community, led Taizé worship services on campus, and taken a road trip to Hot Springs Village to give a concert at Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church.  The group also usually takes part in the Music Department's Chamber Ensembles recital at the end of the fall semester.
