Oct 18: Hendrix celebrates the life of Dr. Kenneth Story, a teacher, scholar, advisor, and mentor in the Department of English from 1972 until 2000. Ken passed away on June 19, 2009. Ken was a dear friend who contributed so richly to the betterment of our lives and to those of our students through his erudition, incomparable wit, loyalty, and generosity of spirit.

In particular, I enjoyed talking with Robin, Adam, Rae, Sarah, Zora, Heather, and I'm sure several others whose names are slipping my mind. I got to hear a remarkably earnest conversation about Foucault. I wanted to hug all of the participants. I wanted to believe in something again."
