Officer Phillip Lucas was born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi and is the fifth of eight children. In 1974, he joined the United States Marine Corps and was shipped overseas toward Vietnam after boot camp. Phillip met his wife of Lake Village, Arkansas in 1977 and they married in 1983. He has one daughter. His favorite hobby is going to NASCAR races with family & friends or watching NASCAR on TV every weekend. When he's not watching NASCAR or the PGA, Phillip enjoys sitting at home in his recliner, having a cold adult beverage and playing Sniper Ghost Warrior, GTA5, NASCAR race game or Golf with his best friend of 60+ years on his PlayStation gaming system until the wee hours of the morning. Phillip is thankful for the opportunity to have been employed at Hendrix College Public Safety since 2006 and looks forward to retirement on the beach in his R.V. & traveling.
