From canoeing and kayaking the Buffalo National River to backpacking, biking, camping and hiking in the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains, there’s no excuse to stay inside in Arkansas. Student organizations like the Outdoor Club and the Climbing Coalition help Hendrix students enjoy the outdoors with weekend trips to nearby state parks and other outdoor destinations.

    Y’all Come!

The best way to get to know Hendrix is in person, because it’s the people that make Hendrix special.

Meet our students and hear why they chose Hendrix. Meet our faculty and hear how they challenge students to be their best. And be sure you meet Miss Martha in Dining Services. After she asks you what you want for lunch, don’t be surprised when she calls you by name. Don’t be surprised when she and the rest of Dining Services team give you a birthday cake and sing to you on your birthday. And don’t be surprised when you see her at athletic games and other student activities on campus. It’s folks like Miss Martha that make Hendrix … well, Hendrix.

Visit campus to see if you could call Hendrix home. Call our Admissions Office at 501-450-1362 to join us for one of our special visit days or make plans to visit at your convenience.
