How to Map a Network Drive (Windows)

  1. Click on the Start button or the folder icon on the taskbar.
  2. Right click on "Computer" or "This PC", then select "Map network drive".
  3. In the box that pops up:
    • Drive: If you want or need a certain drive letter, select that here (do not use the letters H or J).
    • Folder: Type the path to the drive here. (ex. \\hnxdc02\path\to\folder)
    • Click on "Finish".
  4. A window will pop up to the new mapped drive.
