Individual Experience Day Schedule

Monday, Wednesday and Friday Schedule

8:30 a.m. Arrive at historic Ellis Hall, home of the Admission Office, to check in and meet your admission counselor. Students will be able to choose from a list of classes to attend while parents can pick up their own personal schedule for the day.
9:10 a.m. Attend a class and get a glimpse of what your Hendrix education will look like during the next four years. Parents, this is your time to learn more about Hendrix College. Everything from academics to financing a Hendrix education will be discussed with one of the admission counselors, and then you'll have time to chat one-on-one with a current Hendrix student.
10:10 a.m. Take a campus walk with our current Hendrix students--parents and students will head out on separate walks so you can ask those questions you really want to ask!
11:30 a.m. Eat lunch in the award-winning dining hall. It is our treat, so have a seat, relax, and enjoy a bite with current students and staff while you sample a dessert or two.
12:10 p.m. See the residence halls where you will be living when you come to Hendrix. No "show" rooms here; you'll get to see the clean, the messy, the authentic Hendrix dorm rooms (families will stick together to see the dorms).
1:30 p.m. Sit down and chat with a professor in an area of your interest. Students, come prepared with questions since you will be leading this discussion. Meanwhile, parents will head back to Ellis Hall to enjoy the swings on the front porch and have a little free time.*
2 p.m. Finish the day with your admission counselor back in Ellis Hall. Let us know if you want to take any optional walks and/or attend any additional meetings.*
