Hendrix Students Present Research at Arkansas INBRE Conference

Nine students present research at 2023 Arkansas (INBRE) Research Conference


CONWAY, Ark. (November 10, 2023) — Nine Hendrix College students were among the 231 undergraduates who presented scientific research at the 2023 Arkansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) Research Conference held earlier this month at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Five Hendrix students presented research in the biology division, two students presented in the chemistry division, and two students presented in the physics division.

Tommy Caldarera ’25 was selected to deliver a biology oral presentation, and three Hendrix students received awards for their poster presentations:

Kate Jackson ’25 earned first place for her presentation in the biology poster section.

Jack Carroll ’24 received an honorable mention for his presentation in the physics poster section.

Harry Lance ’26 received an honorable mention for his presentation in the physics poster section.
