Hulen Ballroom is located at the Northwest end of Hulen Hall.  The Ballroom has a capacity for 400 people seated. The floor is tiled with black and white tiles and Hendrix College banners are on the wall that cannot be removed.  There is a small lobby near the West entrance.

Reserving Hulen Ballroom

Hulen Ballroom may be reserved for wedding receptions when there are no conflicts with on-campus events.  The Ballroom is rented "clear floor."  Hendrix can provide some tables and chairs if arrangements are made at least four weeks in advance.  There is an additional set-up charge for this service. The wedding party is responsible for making these arrangements with the Wedding Coordinator.

In order to give priority to college and student events, reservations for wedding receptions cannot be confirmed until 6 months prior to the wedding date.  Please be advised that during the academic year there is the possibility of having student activities near your reception.  The site for the wedding and the site for the reception are confirmed separately.  The Wedding Coordinator can 'pencil you in' for a date up to a year in advance; however, the date will not be confirmed until 6 months from the day.  The Facilities Reservation Contract will be sent to you 6 months before the proposed date, if it is still available at that time.

Reservations for Hulen Ballroom include the day of the wedding only provided there is no conflict with other events.

A reception date cannot be confirmed until the reservation form and full payment have been received.  A $150 security deposit, which will be refunded following the reception, provided the Ballroom is left in good condition and all furnishings are returned to their original place.
