Couch Hall is home to up 146 students who reside in 70 double occupancy rooms and 6 RA single rooms. It is a co-educational community originally built in 1956 as an all-male hall until 1973 when it became a coed environment.

The residents of Couch hall, often referred to as "Couchies", enjoy the diversity of interaction a coeducational environment supports. They also take full advantage of the social opportunities that the large lobby area, TV lounge, and patios provide.
