Thanksgiving Break Request Form

This form is only for students residing in traditional residence halls and residential houses.  If you live in Hendrix-owned apartments, the Eco House, or the Language House, please review the Thanksgiving Break closing information here.


This request should be as detailed as possible.  Anyone submitting such a request after the deadline of 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013, will automatically be assessed a late request fee of $75.00 to their account if their request is granted.  Not all requests will be granted.  

Each member of a Hendrix-sponsored group that will be here for all or part of the break must also complete a Thanksgiving Break Request Form no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013, which will be approved only after the sponsor sends a roster to housing@hendrix.edu.  If you are part of one of these groups, please make sure to specify this on your form. 

No break requests will be reviewed during any period while the College is closed.  
You will be informed of the status of your Thanksgiving Break Request by your Area Coordinator via email on November 19, 2013.
