Religious Life
Volunteer Action Committee (VAC)

VAC is a student-led organization which organizes and leads volunteer/service projects for Hendrix students, both on-campus and in the central Arkansas area, and occasionally in other locations as need be (for example, the fall break 2005 service trip to Mississippi to help with Hurricane Katrina relief work).  Their projects include weekly Service Saturdays, monthly projects such as food and clothes drives, arrangement of individual volunteer opportunities for students, Big Buddy, and Adopt-a-Grandparent. Their office is located in SLTC 133 (Religious Life/ Miller Center Suite).

This year VAC is chaired by Michaela Fraser (frasermg@hendrix.edu).
