Dr. Cloyd arrived at Hendrix in 1997 as Vice President of Development and was selected as the college’s tenth President in 2001. In addition to his considerable administrative duties, he has taught a variety of courses such as the History of Western Political Thought, War in International Relations, and Masterworks. Cloyd has also edited a collection of essays entitled, Politics and the Human Body: Assault on Dignity.
