Lunchtime Lecture by Nobel Laureate William Phillips

On 6 March 2008 several members of the Hendrix physics department traveled to the Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock, AR to attend a lunch lecture by Nobel laureate William Phillips.  Dr. Phillips shared the 1997 Nobel Prize in Physics with Steven Chu and Claude Cohen-Tannoudji "for development of methods to cool and trap atoms with laser light".
