Plotkin, magazine editor and associate vice president for marketing communications. The magazine advances to the National Federation of Press Women's communications contest where it will compete against similar publications from across the nation. The judge's comments focused on Hendrix magazine's responsiveness to its readers. "It's clear the goals were met with this magazine. I love how this entrant takes the time to survey its readers and then made the necessary adjustments to improve. Well done!"
