CONWAY, Ark. (June 18, 2012) - Hendrix College politics professor Dr. Jay Barth '87 was selected to serve as a delegate at the 2012 Democratic National Convention September 3- 6, 2012, in Charlotte, N.C.

"One of my goals as a teacher is helping students understand how their skills and passions link to a life in public service," Barth said. "Experiencing a national convention will allow me to enhance my courses, particularly my course in American Political Parties and Elections, which examines the modern role of political parties."

Barth is exploring the possibility of holding his American Parties & Elections class remotely from Charlotte.
