Students can present their own research (oral, poster, and performing and visual arts presentations) at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research (NCUR) on April 15-17 at the University of Montana in Missoula. The deadline for online abstract submission is December 4. As announced earlier this semester, every Hendrix student is now entitled to $1000 in Odyssey funding to travel to and present their research at any local or national conference, including NCUR. Therefore, you must apply for Odyssey credit to receive funding for NCUR. The deadline to apply for Odyssey credit is also December 4 and forms should be submitted to Dr. Penner at DW Reynolds Room 144. If you have already received credit for your project, you will need only to submit the title of your project to the same place. Hendrix will not support travel to NCUR for students without Odyssey credit. Once your funding is secured, Hendrix will arrange for your air and ground travel and for your lodging. For more information e-mail Dr. Penner (penner@hendrix.edu) or visit the website (http://www.ncur.org).
