Move-in Day is Tuesday, August 20!

Tentative new student move-in time

  • 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20

Tentative Check-in times

  • Out-of-state students: 8-10 a.m.
  • In-state students: 10 a.m. to noon

IMPORTANT! Once you are all moved in to your residence hall, make sure you head over to the Student Life & Technology Center for Orientation Registration One Stop Shop. You will recieve your full Orientation schedule, name tag, and t-shirt. You will also be able to do the following:

  • Take your picture for your student ID/OneCard
  • Get your post office box number and combination
  • Get your laptop hooked up to Hendrix wireless internet
  • Speak to representatives from the Business Office, Financial Aid, Health Services, and Parent Relations

We highly suggest that you plan to arrive at the appropriate time set aside for you in order to avoid long lines. Upon your arrival at Hendrix, you will need to go to your assigned building to pick up your keys and sign your Residence Life contract.

The Residence Life staff is looking forward to an exciting year filled with Hendrix Warrior spirit and pride! We are confident that Residence Life will be a highlight to your Hendrix career.

Move-in day driving directions

From Interstate 40:

From I-40, take Exit 125 and turn onto US 65-B/Harkrider St. Stay on US 65-B/Harkrider St. for about half a mile. Travel past The Village at Hendrix on your left.

North Side campus residents (Raney, Veasey, Galloway): Upon entering the first roundabout, take an immediate right onto Winfield St. This will lead you to the North Side parking lots.

South Side campus residents (Martin, Hardin, Couch): Travel through the first roundabout (exiting to remain on US 65-B/Harkrider St.) and underneath a pedestrian bridge. Upon entering the second roundabout, take an immediate right onto Markham St. This will take you to the South Side parking lots.
