The countdown to Move-In Day is in full swing and we can hardly wait to welcome
you to campus. On August 20, new students from around the nation will converge at
Hendrix and we want you to know what to expect!
Students who have not made payment in full or set up a payment plan by August 1 will not be allowed to move into their residence hall. You will need to visit Dawkins upon arriving at campus.
First Thing
Upon
your arrival at Hendrix, the first thing you'll do is go to your residence hall
to pick up the keys to your new home away from home. WARNING: When you pull up in
front of your res hall, your car will be swarmed by upper-class students waiting
to move your boxes up to your room (so it may help to write your room number on
your belongings).
Check in at the SLTC
In
a few minutes, your boxes will be in your room, but you've only just started! Now
it's time to head over to the Student Life and Technology Center (SLTC) for Orientation
Check In! Not only will you receive your Orientation schedule and t-shirt,
you can also visit the Hendrix College Spirit Store, pose for a move-in day photo and meet even more great
people.
