How to Use Forums and Assignment Types

11/8/2012 from 3 - 4:30 pm in Bailey Library Bib Lab. This workshop will be led by Karen Fraser.  A 30-minute discussion about how to use forums for threaded discussion in class. Also, did you know the Forums can be used as a means for students to upload a paper and have classmates see and comment on the papers. Assignment type discussion will include what type of assignment you want to use for your courses. If students upload once, you use one assignment type. If they upload improved or more complete papers, you can do an upload that addresses “parts” of an assignment. Note: The rest of the time will just be a Q and A session for questions you have about Moodle. There will be a five-minute segment sometime with one of your colleagues showing you something they do that is creative with Moodle.
