In order to connect to the Hendrix Network, your computer should meet one of the following minimum specifications:

•  Windows compatible computer with 1.6 ghz processer with 1 gig of memory, at least 50MB of free disk space, and running Windows XP with a 10/100 Ethernet Card.  A computer with a 802.11 B/G network card is required for accessing the wireless network. 
•  Macintosh  PowerMac with 64MB of memory, at least 30MB of free disk space, and running OS 9.x or OS 10.x, with a 10/100 Ethernet Card.  A computer with a 802.11 B/G network card is required for accessing the wireless network. 

Hendrix Information Technology recommends the following for student computers:

•  Windows 7 or Macintosh OS 10.6 
•  3 GB of memory 
• 50 GB of free disk space
• Ethernet networking card and CAT5 ethernet cable OR Wireless-G support
