Hendrix users constantly receive emails that request personal or account information like your SSN, banking information, or Hendrix login and password. You should not click on any links in these emails or reply to them. Hendrix will never request this information from you via email. If you are ever in doubt about the source of an email please contact helpDesk@hendrix.edu or call us at (501) 450-1340.
The College's spam firewall blocks over 20,000 spam emails per day, but a significant number do make it through. Any email that you think is spam should be deleted.
As always, you should never give personally identifiable information in response to an email request. You should only open attachments or follow links if the mail is from a trusted source and you are expecting it. When in doubt, delete the message or forward the email (removing the FW: from the subject line) to helpDesk@hendrix.edu.
