Hendrix Information Technology provide the Network shared drive, well known as Z-drive thatstudents can use to save documents in the Computers labs. Students can access the Z drive on their personal computer if they are connected to the Hendrix Network, wireless or wired network.

For computers running Windows 7 and Windows Vista

 On Start Menu , select Computer

Select “Map Network Drive” located on the top menu bar

In the new window, type in \\hnxdc03\students\stuU\Username

The "U" stands for the initial of the Hendrix email. If your email is DoeJohn@hendrix.edu, you will put \\hnxdc03\students\stuD\DoeJohn and select “Reconnect at logon” to have access to the drive every time you log on to the computer and “Connect using different credentials”.

A new window will pop up and as for credentials. Put in your Hendrix email username and password and check the box “Remember my credentials if you are accessing the network drive from a public computer.

Click “OK”
