I have always loved to cook! I can remember when I was young being in the kitchen helping everyone out with the cooking. When I was in high school I started working at a convenience store where we served a variety of food. At that time I was not sure if food service was something I wanted to do for a living. A few years down the road I got a job at an upscale Country Club and overtime I started to realize that food service was something I could do for a living. At that point, I decided to apply to the American Culinary Federation/Central Arkansas Chapter School of Apprenticeship where I graduated in July of 2006.

I am currently working with Executive Chef Scott Pickens here at Hendrix College to complete my apprenticeship and I am looking forward to finishing my certification in the current year. I love working at Hendrix College with its great atmosphere and wonderful people. I currently hold the position of Sous Chef and my future plans include staying with Hendrix to further my education and career.
