Catering Services provide a catering experience for all of your event needs on the Hendrix campus. Please use the links on the left to explore our menu options.
Steps for scheduling a catered event
- The facility and date should be reserved as soon as possible with Dining Service Catering and the Master Calendar for campus activities. Dining Service Catering is unavailable on Saturday evenings.
- Plan the menu with the Dining Service Catering Manager no later than ten working days before the event is scheduled. If Dining Service catering is not available; approved catering sources are Oak Street Bistro - 450.9908, Diane's 501.224.2639, Simply the Best 501.955.2020, Fish House - 327.9901, Hog Pen - 329.1157. If you have a catering source you are interested in using, check with Dining Service catering for approval.
Guarantees and cancellations
After a final guest count is given to Dining Service, the person/organization sponsoring the event will financially be responsible for that number. Dining Services will prepare an additional 5% to serve as a buffer.
There is no charge for cancellations made at least three working days prior to the event. Cancellations made thereafter are subject to charges of costs already incurred.
Final guest guarantees
A final guest count is required three business days prior to your event unless the menu requires otherwise. If no guarantee is received we will plan according to the estimated guest count. If your event is on Sunday or Monday, your final guest count must be submitted before noon on Wednesday. If the actual guest count exceeds the guaranteed count, you will be billed for the actual guest count.
Labor
- Min. 2 hrs./per staff
- $16.00 per hour/per staff
- Bartenders $40.00 per hour/min 2 hours per staff
Setup charge
All meal prices are predicated on services in the Dining Services area. Additional costs may be assessed for locations outside of the Dining Service area.
Delivery charge
No delivery charge for delivery Monday-Friday 6:30 am-1:00 pm.
Removal of food
Due to the regulation of the Health Department and catering industry standards, any food not consumed at the event may not be removed, except by Hendrix Catering.
