THE RESULTS:

Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Alumni Giving Challenge with Southwestern University!  Southwestern University is a strong peer institution located in Georgetown, Texas.  Like Hendrix, Southwestern just launched its football program this fall.

In response to the Challenge, alumni contributed $29,689 in total gifts!  These dollars will benefit the Hendrix Annual Fund, helping to provide scholarships and financial aid to Hendrix students from around the globe.  Thank you for making a difference in the lives of Hendrix students.

Here are a few other Challenge Results that may be of interest to you:

• Alumni who made a gift are from classes ranging from 1948 to 2013.
• 58 of the participants are first-time donors to the College.
• 93 of the donors are from the Hendrix Class of 2014.  Their gifts went in support of their class Senior Gift.
• 147 of the donors are categorized as Young Alumni--from the classes of 1998 to 2013.
