A degree in the liberal arts is the precursor to a better, more educated and aware, life overall. And sometimes students and their families are unaware of the opportunities in many different career fields that a liberal arts degree can foster. The Career Services staff can not only help you discern what major fits you, but also can help you identify industries, careers and positions that might best suit your individual skills and passions.
The Career Services office also sponsors FACT (Friday Afternoon Connection Time) during the academic year. These sessions allow students to have 30 minute one-on-one meetings with graduates of Hendrix who are working in a wide variety of fields: business, service, health care, etc. Through this program students can get real world advice from graduates who’ve gained experience in the work world and are eager to transfer that knowledge to current undergraduates.
The list below shows many majors and their Hendrix equivalent. Click on the “information” link by the major or area of study that interests you to find out more.
