Leigh Lassiter-Counts '01

Leigh Lassiter-Counts Associate Director & Internship Coordinator

Leigh, a 2001 Hendrix alumna, joins the Career Services office after spending 5 years ‘on the road’ for Hendrix as a fundraiser. With a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration, she has experience in athletics, academic advising, constituent relations, student activities, and advancement and development. She will head the internship program and is thrilled to spend more time on the beautiful Hendrix campus assisting students and faculty as the internship program continues to grow. She is eager to help with all internship and employment related questions, inquiries and explorations.

Beyond her work at Hendrix, Leigh enjoys all-things athletic – including rooting for her two favorite teams – the Hendrix Warriors and the University of Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevils (she grew up on the campus of UAM). She serves on the Hendrix College Warrior Booster Club Board and is the ultimate Warrior fan along with her husband, Richard, also a Hendrix graduate, and their daughter Eliza (hopeful class of ’31) and their son Finn '34. They also have two canine children, Ella and Gracie.

Jamie Fotioo

Jamie joins the Career Services staff after spending nearly five years managing the enrollment communications program in the Admission Office at Hendrix. As Employer Outreach Coordinator, Jamie works to cultivate and strengthen relationships with and between employers and the Hendrix community in order to maximize student employment. In addition to her outreach responsibilities, Jamie serves as a liaison for students and alumni seeking assistance in the job-search process. "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." Jamie adheres to this belief and truly enjoys guiding students through the process of identifying their interests and passions and then integrating them into a formal professional path.

Jamie graduated as a Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences Senior Scholar and Phi Beta Kappa member from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 2005 earning a double major in art and journalism and a minor in marketing. She is an avid Razorbacks fan and is active in the Faulkner County Chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association, having recently served two years as president of the group. Originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, Jamie returns home often to spend time on the lake with her friends and family. She also enjoys reading, indie music, and reality television.

Dominique Kelleybrew '11

Dominique, a 2011 Hendrix graduate, joins the team to assist with the programming of Career Services events. His main roles are organizing and coordinating campus visits for employers and graduate schools as well as planning events such as theEXPO, our annual fall graduate, professional and internship expo, and helping with CareerFest in spring semester. In addition, he is responsible for scheduling appointments for his Career Services co-workers, the department's publicity and social media, and other office duties.

Dominique is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas and now lives in Conway. As a Hendrix student he was a dedicated member of the school's Flying Squirrels Ultimate Frisbee team, Students for Black Culture, the Hendrix Experience Ambassador Team, and numerous other organizations and events. Being that he majored in photography, it's no surprise that he has a strong passion for the arts including visual art, performance/ choreography, all sorts of music, cinema, architecture/ design, and of course video games.

Safari Sibomana '13

Safari

Safari is a senior at Hendrix College. He is one of the Rwanda Presidential Scholars. During his past three years here at Hendrix, he has been a member of International and Multicultural Committee, enjoyed the Big Buddy Program, and is now having a good time as a Career Services student assistant. As a computer science major, he enjoys spending some time writing light weight software for his every day needs. He loves praying and enjoys listening to Christian and world music and playing basketball.

Daniel Noble '15

Daniel

Daniel is a sophomore biology major from Jacksonville, Arkansas. He hopes to become a conservational biologist, focusing on behavioral ecology. Daniel stays busy through several campus organizations such as HEAT and is also a Leadership Scholar. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and hanging out with friends.

Claire is a freshman from Dallas proper. She plans to major in psychology and become a family therapist. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, and listening to and/or playing music. At home, and anxiously awaiting her return, are her two cats, Biscuit and Frankie, and adorable dog, Cookie.
