Make decisions about what you want to do post-graduation.
- Schedule an appointment with a Career Services counselor to have your updated résumé critiqued.
- Complete an internship in your area of interest.
- Participate in interviewing, résumé writing and other workshops.
- Practice interviewing skills.
- Learn a new skill that employers look for in a new hire.
- Attend on-campus career fairs and employer information sessions that relate to your interests. (Check the Career Services calendar of events for more information.)
- Attend theEXPO, our annual graduate and professional school fair, and begin researching graduate school programs for admission requirements and deadlines.
- Collect information on graduate entrance examinations. Determine if you need to take a graduate school entrance exam before beginning your senior year.
- Complete at least five informational interviews in careers you want to explore. Shadow professionals in your fields of interest.
- Research potential employers in the career library and talk to recent graduates in your major.
