The best way to schedule an event through the Media Center is to send Bobby Engeler-Young an e-mail. Please include all the noun info: (You know the song! Oh, a noun is a person, place or thing. Do-doot-do-do-do, Do-doot-do-do-do, Do-doot-do-do-do, Doot-doot-dooo.)
Person!: Your name, the numerical name by which you may be contacted (phone number) and, if appropriate, your collective name (the organization you represent)
Place!: the place or places in which your event or class will be held. Remember that Einstein teaches us that to be in a place is to be in a place in time. So to be in a place at the wrong time is to not really be in that place. So in order for us to be in the right place, Relatively Speaking, you must tell us also the time to be in that place.
Thing!: Well, of course, you may not know exactly all the bits and pieces of things it may take to support your class or event. But if you tell us a lot about what you want to do, ("I want to run a powerpoint and play music!", " I want to show videos in multiple formats with Rockin' sound!", "I want to evoke the quality of Youth!") then we will help you figure out what audio-visual equipment will best suit your needs....
Especially if you send all of the above information well in advance of your event or class. In the case of late requests we will always do our best to support your presentations, but those who have made requests before yours will take priority.
Thanks and have a super day!
