All materials from the library are checked out at the circulation desk in the rotunda. A Hendrix ID, a University of Central Arkansas ID, an ArkLINK card, or a Hendrix off-campus borrower card may be used to check out materials. Audio-visual and automated instructional materials are checked out (usually for use within the building) from the Media Center in the Academic Skills Center. Loan Periods

Books are lent for three weeks or for the duration of the summer during that season. Books are lent to faculty for a longer period. Periodicals are NOT lent except with special permission from a librarian. Books may be renewed two times, but not by phone.

Fines

Overdue fines are not charged for stack books. When an item is more than 30 days overdue, it is assumed to be lost. The borrower is then billed for the lost item. If the item is then returned in good condition, the bill is cancelled.
