Reference

Reference librarians can advise users on research, assist in finding books and periodicals, and help users select and search appropriate electronic databases. In short, the librarians are here to answer any question, no matter how basic, about using the library.

The librarians will also provide instruction to classes on any topic and will meet with students individually for research advice on extensive research projects. Please contact Britt Anne Murphy at 450-1288 for more information.

The reference desk is located opposite the circulation desk in the library rotunda. A reference librarian or assistant will usually be at this desk from 8am-10pm Monday-Friday, 12 noon-5pm Saturdays, and 2pm-10pm Sundays to provide assistance. To contact a reference librarian, call 450-1289 or 450-1288.
