ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (Nov. 15) -- The Hendrix College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams combined for a third place finish (497 points) at the Henderson State University Invitational on Saturday at the Duke Wells Center. The men’s team finished third (259 points) and the women’s squad placed fourth (238 points). Both teams ranked ahead of fellow SCAC member Austin College.

CONWAY, Ark. (Nov. 3) -- Hendrix College junior diver Seth Daves and senior swimmer Brett Carr were named the SCAC Men’s Diver and Swimmer-of-the-Week, respectively, for meets held through October, 25.

CONWAY, Ark. (Nov. 1) -- The Hendrix College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams both placed fourth overall and ahead of SCAC foes Southwestern, Rhodes and Austin at the 42nd Annual Hendrix Classic Friday night. The men finished fifth and the women took home sixth in the 47th Annual Hendrix Relays on Saturday afternoon at Bob Courtway Pool.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 23) -- The Hendrix College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams had strong showings at the University of Arkansas Little Rock / Rhodes College Dual Meet, hosted by UALR on Friday night.

(Sept. 15) -- The Hendrix College Athletics Department was busy reviewing resumes and conducting interviews throughout the summer, so you may see a few new faces on the sidelines when attending contests this year.  The Warriors have welcomed six new coaches and an athletic trainer to the 2009-10 staff.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 15) -- The Hendrix College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams wrapped up the 2009 SCAC Championship with a seventh place finish on both sides. The Trinity women and DePauw men took first place in the meet. The Hendrix women’s team posted its best finish since 2005, while the men’s team has placed seventh in the past two championships.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 13) -- The Hendrix College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams wrapped up a full day of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship events on Thursday at the Tracy Caulkins Competition Pool. The men’s squad finished the day at 6th place, while the women’s team ranked 7th in the nine-team meet.

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (Jan. 16) -- Hendrix College sophomore diver Seth Daves had another standout performance against Henderson State University on Saturday at the Duke Wells Center. Daves earned another national qualifying score on the one-meter event and set a new Hendrix record for six dives on the one-meter with his score of 277.50.

CONWAY, Ark. (Jan. 15) -- Hendrix College sophomore diver Seth Daves has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Diver-of-the-Week for all meets swam Monday, Jan. 5 through Sunday, Jan. 11.

SHERMAN, Texas (Jan. 11) -- The Hendrix College men’s and women’s teams led all NCAA Division III schools, including Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference foes Austin College and Southwestern University at the Austin Invitational on Sunday at the Hannah Natatorium.
