CONWAY, Ark. (Nov. 7) -- The semifinal round of the 2009 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Hockey Championships is set to begin at 11 a.m. CDT with No. 1 Rhodes College and No. 5 Sewanee-The University of the South getting things started. No. 2 Centre College and No. 3 DePauw University are slated to follow at 1:30 p.m.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Nov. 6) -- No. 8 seed Rhodes College handed No. 9 seed Hendrix College a straight set loss in the opening affair of the 2009 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Oglethorpe University on Friday afternoon. The Warriors fall to 12-24 on the season, while the Lynx improve to 13-24 on the season.

GEORGETOWN, Texas (Nov. 6) -- Southwestern University snapped Hendrix College’s three-game win streak with a goal in the 89:48 minute on a windy Friday afternoon at Pirates Field. The Warriors remain at fifth place in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 10-6-0 overall record and 4-4-0 conference mark, while the Pirates stand at seventh in the SCAC with a 9-8-1 overall record and 3-4-1 league effort.
