Performing and Fine Arts Scholarships

Hendrix College encourages students to seek knowledge and growth outside the classroom through a variety of extracurricular, cocurricular, leadership and service programs. The following scholarship opportunities award students for their talents and achievements while in high school in the areas of performing and fine arts. Recipients of these scholarships must participate in the appropriate program, though an intended major or minor in the area is not required.

Each extracurricular scholarship awards $2,000 per year for up to four years of full-time enrollment, contingent on the student maintaining a 2.0 GPA and fulfilling the requirements of the individual scholarship program. Students are encouraged to apply for all performing and fine arts, leadership, and service scholarships (see separate application) for which they are eligible. However, only one scholarship from among all such categories may be awarded to each student. Extracurricular scholarships may be awarded in addition to other scholarships and awards, including the Odyssey Honors and Distinction Awards.

TO APPLY: The following scholarship application must be submitted by February 1, 2013. Supporting documents, as noted throughout the application and in your confirmation email, must also be submitted by this date. Documents sent directly to the Office of Admission should clearly indicate the scholarship for which they're being submitted.
