Anthony Lucio, Admission Counselor, is a native of Dallas, TX and graduated from Hendrix College in 2011 with a degree in Psychology. While attending Hendrix, Anthony spent much of his course work in the Psychology, Art, Anthropology, and Religion
departments. As a student, Anthony was an active member in the Multi-Cultural Development Committee, Spanish Club, the
Aonian (Hendrix's Literary Magazine) and the Hendrix College Gospel Choir. With Hendrix, Anthony was able to do undergraduate
research on Tibetan Monasteries in Northern India, go on a Miller Center Service trip to Vietnam, and study abroad in Monterrey, Mexico.
After graduation, Anthony served with Teach for America as a kindergarten and first grade teacher for two years in Pine Bluff, AR. Anthony now joins our staff as an Admissions Counselor for Texas (outside of Dallas and Austin) and the Northeast from
Virginia to Maine.
Anthony has an affinity for music of all kinds including but not limited to Hip-hop, R&B, rock, blues, folk, old-time country, norteño, some metal, and top 40. He has a growing collection bolo ties and money from different countries. Recently, Anthony
has also taken interest in distance running as he completed his first marathon last February.
