Scholarships are awarded for academic achievement, leadership and service experience, and performance in the fine arts. Scores from the ACT and SAT writing tests are not considered when evaluating scholarship candidates.

The Hendrix scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or better and selects housing and meal plan options covered by the award

The Hendrix scholarship is automatic upon receipt of the Arkansas Governor's Distinguished Scholarship if the student is accepted and his or her enrollment deposit is postmarked by May 1 |
