Credit Conversion Scale

 

Under 3-3 system

1 course credit = 3.3 semester hours
1 course credit = 4 semester hours for the following courses:
a) Math 1300, 1400, 1500, 2000, and 3000*;
b) all Natural Science Area courses with
    laboratory;
c) Foreign Languages 1100, 1200, and 1300;
d) Psychology 2950, 3000, 3100, 3200,
    3300, 3500, 3600 (before 1992-93), 3750
    and 4200
*Starting in August 1999, the course codes became three-digit numbers by dropping the final digit used in the old system.

Under current term system 1 course credit = 4 semester hours
