The Hendrix Dance Team entertains supporters during home basketball games. Tryouts for the team are held during fall term and are open to all students.

Outdoor Activities and Recreation (O.A.R.)

The OAR program offers members of the Hendrix community opportunities to share adventure and learning experiences utilizing the great outdoors. Sponsored trips and clinics help people enjoy activities such as state park visits, horseback riding, rock climbing, skeet and trap shooting, and more. Camping, backpacking, and canoeing equipment is available for personal use for a small rental fee. Additional information about the OAR program is posted on the OAR bulletin board in the Campus Center or can be obtained at the Mabee Activity Center.

 

Water Polo Club

The mission of this organization is to provide fun, fellowship, and recreational opportunities for the Hendrix College community through participation in the game of water polo.  The organization will function through structured practice and games, as well as committee meetings to carry out the business of the club.  The organization exists for the entire Hendrix community, including faculty, staff, and alumni, and so shall benefit all of the aforementioned.
