The Aonian

The Aonian is a yearly publication containing a collection of literary and artistic works by members of the Hendrix community. Poetry, short stories, art work, and photography are included in the magazine. Entries may be submitted during the year until the first of February. All interested students are encouraged to submit work and/or join the staff. Information regarding staff meetings and submission deadlines will be posted at the first of the fall term.

KHDX

KHDX (93.1 FM) is Hendrix' student-run radio station. It offers the student an opportunity not only to operate broadcasting equipment, but also to program his or her own show. There is no set format of music, and variety is encouraged. KHDX also features professionally produced syndicated programming, news and public service announcements. Interested students should look for organizational meeting and training sessions at the beginning of each term.

The Profile

The Profile is the student newspaper which is compiled and published twice a month under the direction of the editors. It is funded by the Student Association as directed by the Media Committee with funds collected from student activity fees. The Profile provides coverage of campus and community news, a forum for student expression, and assorted sports, features, and community service information. The student editors of The Profile are chosen in the spring by the Media Committee. Persons interested in opinion writing, reporting, newspaper production, photography, cartooning, or advertising should contact the editors.

The Troubadour

The College yearbook, the Troubadour, is an accumulation of the year's events in words and photographs. Headed by an editor, associate editor, and a faculty advisor, the staff involves persons interested in photography, journalism, and graphic arts. Persons are also needed for typing and layouts. Anyone interested in joining the staff should contact the yearbook office, either of the editors, or the advisor.
