SPANISH HOUSE. Students immerse themselves in a foreign language—Spanish this year—by speaking it exclusively while "at home."
This year's resident director is Almudena Loarte García, who has been working for the Queen Sophia Modern Art Museum in Madrid. She graduated from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2012 with a degree in art history and has done additional studies in Spanish as a second language and pedagogy.
WRITING CENTER. The campus Writing Center, located in the College’s Bailey Library, is available to assist students with their writing assignments in any class. Trained student tutors facilitate the writing process and help direct attention to problem areas.
