SUWANEE, Ga. (Nov. 16) -- In exclusive voting by the league’s head soccer coaches, Hendrix College sophomore forward Duncan Keegan was selected to the 2009 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Third Team.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Nov. 8) -- Hendrix College saw its 2009 season come to an end on a rainy Sunday afternoon with a 0-2 loss to No. 5 Trinity University at the Jesse H. Jones Soccer Field. The Tigers scored two second half goals for the victory. The Warriors wrap up the season with a 9-8-2 overall record and 4-4-2 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference mark.

GEORGETOWN, Texas (Nov. 6) -- The Hendrix College men’s soccer held strong for 76 minutes against Southwestern University until junior midfielder Alex Keller scored the game winner off an assist from junior defender Fernando Leon on Friday afternoon at Pirates Field.

CONWAY, Ark. (Nov. 1) -- The Hendrix College men’s soccer team used three first half goals to post a 3-1 win over SCAC foe Colorado College, giving Warriors’ head coach Doug Mello his 400th career victory on Sunday afternoon at Warrior Field. Hendrix improves to 9-6-2 overall and 4-2-2 in SCAC action, while Colorado moves to 9-8-1 on the year and 5-4-0 in league play. The Warriors overall mark is their best since going 9-5-0 in 1993.

CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 30) -- The Hendrix College men’s soccer team suffered a 0-1 loss to Austin College after a foul was called on the Warriors inside the box with just 0:10 showing on the scoreboard. Kangaroos’ senior midfielder Alex Dawson made good on his penalty kick chance for the SCAC win Friday night at Warrior Field.

CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 25) -- Hendrix College and Oglethorpe University played to a nail-biting 2-2 tie on Sunday afternoon at Warrior Field. The Warriors remain undefeated at 5-0-2 in the month of October. Hendrix now stands at 8-5-2 overall and 3-1-2 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action (6th in the SCAC with 11 points), while Oglethorpe moves to 6-8-2 on the year and 1-5-1 in league play (10th in SCAC with four points).

(Oct. 23) -- The Hendrix College men’s soccer team posted a three-goal shutout over Sewanee-The University of the South to move ahead of the Tigers in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference standings. Senior midfielder Thomas Robins (pictured) used back-to-back penalty kicks to put the game away early in the first half. The Warriors improve to 8-5-1 overall and 3-1-1 in SCAC to rank fifth in the league

CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 13) -- Hendrix College sophomore defender Ian Evans (pictured) has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 11.

CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 11) -- First year forward Dylan Reed scored Hendrix College’s lone goal in the 28th minute, while senior midfielder James Kusak scored Centre College’s only goal as the two teams battled to a 1-1 double overtime decision Sunday afternoon at Warrior Field.
