ALEXANDRIA, La. (Oct. 14) -- The Hendrix College men’s golf team finished fifth among NCAA Division-III schools at the Louisiana College Fall Invitational held at the Oak Wing Golf Course. The Warriors combined for a team score of 696 and were 48 strokes behind the host team Louisiana College.

TUNICA, Miss. (Sept. 22) -- The Hendrix College men’s golf team sat alone at 20th place with a final two-round team score of 695 (355 in first, 340 in second) at the Rhodes College Fall Classic, played at the Tunica National Golf Course on Sunday and Monday.

TYLER, Texas (Sept. 16) -- The Hendrix College men’s and women’s golf teams wrapped up a soggy final day at the University of Texas-Tyler Invitational, played at the Cascaded Golf Course on Tuesday. The men’s squad finished 7th among NCAA Division III schools, while the women placed 5th.

CONWAY, Ark. (May 26) -- Hendrix College senior Dylan Sherwood and sophomore Emily Mitchell have been named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference’s inaugural Men’s and Women’s Golf All-Sportsmanship teams.  Ten golfers were selected to the 2009 squad from both the men’s and women’s side.

TUNICA, Miss. (April 26) -- The Hendrix College women’s golf team finished 278 strokes ahead of Sewane-The University of the South for seventh place, while the men’s squad defeated Millsaps College for eighth place in the 2009 SCAC Golf Championships on Sunday at Tunica National Golf Course.

TUNICA, Miss. (April 25) -- Hendrix College first year Cody House fired a 78 in the second round of the 2009 SCAC Men’s Golf Tournament and is currently tied for ninth overall, while sophomore Ashley Vick leads the women’s squad with a 192 after the second round on Saturday at Tunica National Golf Course.

TUNICA, Miss. -- Hendrix College sophomore Ashley Vick paced the women’s team with a 93, while first year Cody House shot a 79 to lead the men’s squad in the first round of the 2009 SCAC Golf Championships on Friday at Tunica National Golf Course. Vick finished the day in 19th place, while House wrapped his first 18 holes tied for 11th.

HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. -- Hendrix College senior Dylan Sherwood shot a 157 to finish 14th, while first year Cody House tied for 22nd with a 162 in the Natural State Golf Classic at the Red Apple Inn Golf Course on Tuesday. The Warriors finished sixth in the tournament.

DALLAS (March 25) -- Hendrix College first year Cody House led all golfers with a 79 after 18 holes, while senior Dylan Sherwood finished third with an 82.  The Warriors (352) finished 14 shots behind host University of Dallas (338) after a rainy day at the Bear Creek Invitational on Wednesday.

TYLER, Texas -- The Hendrix College men’s golf team finished 11th with a score of 330 at the University of Texas at Tyler Fall Invitational over the weekend at the Cascades Golf Club.
