CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 22) Senior infielder Matt Gaglio and former Hendrix College standout center fielder Daniel Ward were recently named to the America Baseball Coaches Association Rawlings West Region Gold Glove Team for their outstanding efforts in the 2009 season.

CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 14) -- After months of anticipation, the Hendrix College baseball team recently received their 2009 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship rings in a ceremony held at the team's favorite post-game restaurant the Whole Hog Cafe.

Fifteen members of the 2009 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Champion, Hendrix College baseball team, spent the summer participating in various leagues across the country.  Many of which have continued their success from the past year.

CONWAY, Ark. (May 28) -- Senior center fielder Daniel Ward highlighted a standout collegiate career with the Hendrix College baseball team by earning a spot on the 2009 American Baseball Coaches Association / Rawlings All-West Region Third Team. This was Ward’s second consecutive season to be named to the elite squad.

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. (May 15) -- Hendrix College sophomore LHP Jordan Suydam boasted a four-hit 3-0 shutout heading into the eighth inning of the Warriors second game of the 2009 NCAA Division III West Regional against University of Texas at Tyler on Friday afternoon at Roy Helser Field. However, the Patriots rallied for five runs in the eighth to post a 5-3 come-from-behind win, eliminating the Warriors from the tournament.

McMINNVILLE, Ore. (May 12) -- The Hendrix College baseball team has been slated as the No. 6 seed in the NCAA West Regional, hosted by Linfield College in  McMinnville, Oregon, as announced early this morning by the NCAA Division III Baseball Selection Committee.  The Warriors are slated to take on No. 1 seed Pomona-Pitzer in game one of the tournament on Wednesday, May 13 at 12 p.m. PT.

CONWAY, Ark. (May 11) -- Hendrix College head baseball coach R.J. Thomas has been named the 2009 SCAC Coach of the Year, while sophomore Jeff Forgerson and senior Daniel Ward earned All-SCAC honors. The Warriors also had four players named to the league’s honorable mention list.
