The Rams’ lone hit came from their first batter of the game, a single to center field. Herrera retired the next 12 batters she faced until she walked the leadoff batter in the fifth inning.
The Warriors lit up the scoreboard in the first inning when first year SS Ryan Bracken (Indianola, Iowa/H.S.) drove in her eighth run of the year on a double to left center and eventually crossed the plate on an error.
