CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 9) -- One goal is all it would take for DePauw University to steal the contest from Hendrix College on a cold and windy Friday night at Warrior Field. The Warrios suffered their first Southern Collegeiate Athletic Conference loss and now stand at 2-1 in the SCAC (7-3 overall).
DePauw improved to 4-5-2 overall and 2-1-1 in league action. The Warriors will now look to host Centre College on Sunday at 2 p.m. CDT on Warrior Field.
Tiger’s sophomore forward Alexandra Ehr took a rebound from 10 yards in front of the goal and beat the keeper on an assist from first year midfielder Dana Sprague just 1:10 into the game.
DePauw controlled the tempo for the remainder of the affair and allowed Hendrix just three shots, two on-goal.
Warriors’ sophomore goalkeeper Allison Mosley (Sulphur, La./St. Louis Catholic H.S.) made nine saves the rest of the way out.
