Hendrix to Host Press Conference to Kick Off ACN’s Save AR Students Week

October 23 event to honor Hendrix College freshman’s heroic actions and promote Drug Take Back initiative

CONWAY, Ark. (October 10, 2023) — Hendrix College will host a press conference by the Arkansas Collegiate Network (ACN) on Monday, October 23, at 10 a.m., in Staples Auditorium (building 12 on the current campus map), to kick off ACN’s Fall 2023 Save AR Students Week.

The event will

  • celebrate the success of the Act 811 Statewide Naloxone Rollout,
  • honor Hendrix freshman Ivory Danuser for her recent heroic and lifesaving Naloxone administration and
  • promote state law enforcement’s Drug Take Back initiative. 

ACN will also announce the week’s featured event scheduled for Saturday, October 28, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the University of Central Arkansas.
